Notice is hereby given that the budget and tax resolution was approved by the council members of the Borough of Elmwood Park, County of Bergen on April 23, 2026.

A hearing on the Budget and Tax resolution will be held at the Municipal Building, on May 21st, 2026 at 7:00 o’clock P.M. at which time and place objections to the Budget and Tax Resolution for the year 2026 may be presented by taxpayers or other interested persons.

Elmwood Park Revaluation Update

The wait is over, Appraisal Systems, INC. (ASI) has completed and mailed the 2026 new property assessment letters so you should be receiving yours soon. If you have questions about your new assessment as well as the revaluation process now is time to contact ASI.

You may call to schedule an appointment with representatives from Appraisal Systems, INC (ASI) by phone by calling them at 201-493-8530, Monday through Friday between the hours of 10 AM to 4PM.

For your convenience, you may also schedule your appointment online at www.asinj.com/scheduling.htm. 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Appointments with ASI can either be in person at Borough Hall, virtual or by calling in.

The Borough of Elmwood Park was ordered to conduct a mandatory revaluation by the NJ State Division of Taxation. The Borough has contracted with ASI and has met all statutory requirements during the process. When completed, the result will be a uniform ratable base ensuring that all assessments are fair and equitable.

The Elmwood Park revaluation is revenue neutral and the outcome will result in uniformity across all properties. Thank you for your cooperation during this process.
