The Residents Assistance Program is proud to announce that we have received a generous donation from Mr. Larry Inserra, Jr., owner of ShopRite supermarkets. The Inserra family has donated 120 fifty-dollar gift cards to our community to help our residents in need during this holiday season. BOROUGH OF ELMWOOD PARK
NOTICE TO APPLICANTS

Notice is hereby given that applications for Wreckers and Towers for the Borough of Elmwood Park for the 2021 Calendar Year will be available on our Borough website beginning on Thursday, October 1st, 2020 at 8:30AM. Applications are investigated by the Police Department on a first-come-first-served basis. The first four towing contractors who submit completed applications to the Borough Clerk and who, upon investigation by the Police Department, are determined by the Police Department to successfully meet all of the requirements for towing services of this article shall be issued towing licenses (Ord. No. 2017-07). An application for a license as a proprietor of a towing or wrecking business shall be made by the person or firm engaged in operating a wrecker or wreckers. The fee for applying for such license shall be five hundred ($500.00) dollars. The application shall be made on forms furnished by the Police Department.
